Kalashnikov Vladimir Vladimirovich.

Born on 23 October, 1963 in Moscow.

Studied the violin at the school No. 7. The teacher — Kosaurikhina Galina Petrovna.

In 1983 graduated from Moscow Musical college named after Ippolitov-Ivanov, the viola class of Spiridonova Margarita Igorevna (special gratitude for her patience).

Starting from 1977 till 1990 studied at the creative studio of violin making managed by Yarovoy Denis Vladimirovich.

After the death of Denis Yarovoy in 1991 founded his own workshop.

Uses the tap-tone plate tuning method, applied to the instruments of the Italian violin making school, and provides all types of repair and restoration.

Has repaired instruments crafted by Amati, Guarneri, Stradivari, Maggini, Klotz, Guadagnini, Albani, Bergonzi, Santo Serafin, Lupot, Vuillaume etc.

Musicians from Russia, Belgium, Japan, the USA, England, Holland, Spain play the instruments crafted by Vladimir Kalashnikov.
